"As transplants to the State College area in our retirement years, we looked for a church that views the Holy Bible as God’s true, authoritative, and unchanging Word to guide us in everyday life. We found that at New Life. Through scripture-based sermons, adult Bible study, and small group discussions, we have found a community of believers that puts its faith into action. As a church family, we support one another and reach out to others in service and mission. Being a part of New Life has strengthened our commitment to serve God by serving others."

"New Life Global Methodist Church has brought “NEW LIFE” back into our lives in our very old age. Since being married in 1958, we were very active in each church to which we belonged in four different communities including State College in our later years of retirement. This is until 2020, when Covid hit and we got away from attending church. In 2022 we learned about the launching of the Global Methodist Church. That was the kind of denomination we wanted to become members of because of the emphasis on traditional Wesleyan Christianity with a mission to “make disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly and witness boldly.” Dick felt that God was telling him to help establish a Global Methodist Church in State College. Thankfully, God was also working in the lives of other’s and New Life GMC came into existence in November 2024. We are so greatly blessed to be members of a loving community that has truly given us new life."

"I love being a member of New Life GM Church! Everyone is so wonderfully friendly, thoughtful, kind and caring toward each other. Pastor Dave has great Bible centered sermons and even provides weekly study suggestions for those who want to learn more on their own. We have wonderful children’s sermons and a lot of joyous singing of both contemporary and “good old hymns”! The women take turns providing delicious treats for after the service and we can sit and visit. Everyone is welcome, babies, children, youth, teens, parents, grandparents and great- grandparents (like me)! Come join us and feel the love of Jesus surround you also!"

Ken: We initially came to New Life because it is where Kelly’s parents attend services and are heavily involved in supporting the church. Our family loves it because of the sense of community it provides. At New Life we are part of a group of people who not only believe the word of God, but live the word of God and truly care about their church family and others.

This summer we are spending time looking at certain phrases that are used in our churches, homes, and the wider culture. Many of them seem religious, or even sound like scripture. So far, we have seen that while the saying may not be bad or have a good less, they are not actually scriptural, and some may even contradict Christ or distort His message. When we examine each, we will come to a better understanding of God and how God wants us to live.

We are a Global Methodist Church whose primary mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ and to spread scriptural holiness across the globe. We welcome all who have a desire to know more about God and to grow in their faith to become more like Jesus to join us in this new community of believers.
At New Life Church, all ages are celebrated and feel at home! Conveniently located near the college campus, we offer something for everyone.
- For children: Following a special children’s message at the beginning of worship, kids ages 2 and up head to Children’s Church for engaging, Scripture-based lessons with songs, videos and crafts.
- For adults and retirees: We also have a special place for our retirees, grandparents and all adults. Join us for Adults Sunday School at 9am, before the worship service. You will see more bible study classes offered throughout the week under small groups.
