At New Life Church we are called to a ministry of mission, reaching out into the world with the love of Jesus, being the hands and feet of Jesus to do his work. If you are called by God to start a new mission project, please let us know, so we can be of help in making that happen. Here are some things that are currently going on in mission work at New Life Church.
Pregnancy Resource Center Baby Bottle Blessings Fund Raiser
We have baby bottles from the State College Pregnancy Resource Center. They are a non profit and rely on donations to pay for their many free services. Please grab one at our front door as you exit after the worship service, fill it up with money, and return it March 30th. Thank you so much for supporting an amazing and much needed organization. Food Related Mission Projects
We would like to develop a ministry that focuses on providing meals or other food related services to those who have the need. Currently a few of us prepare a meal for about 20 people at Out of the Cold once every few months, with each person providing a portion of the meal. We also sometimes provide snacks for the Pregnancy Care Center's monthly meeting. We would like to expand this to helping those with health issues by coordinating a meal train.
