At New Life Church we are called to a ministry of mission, reaching out into the world with the love of Jesus, being the hands and feet of Jesus to do his work. If you are called by God to start a new mission project, please let us know, so we can be of help in making that happen. Here are some things that are currently going on in mission work at New Life Church.
Centre Care Ministry
We are so grateful for the beautiful start to our outreach ministry at Centre Care! The warmth and welcome we received was a true blessing. We are excited to keep this momentum going with two monthly gatherings, and we would love for you to join us:
Monthly Bible Study
When: 2nd Tuesday of every month at 2:00 PM (Next gathering: July 2)
What: Dave Wolfgang will lead us through a different, inspiring parable each month.
Monthly Hymn Sing & Message
When: 4th Thursday of every month at 2:00 PM (Next gathering: June 25)
What: A sweet time of worship music and a message filled with encouragement from Pastor Dave.
Come be a part of what God is doing at Centre Care—everyone is welcome!

Volunteers Needed for State College Food Bank’s No-Cost Produce Market

For each Produce Market date, there are a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the day, including:

Dr. Heather Heisey - Missionary to Mongolia
Heather sensed God calling her to return to long term service in Mongolia. Her work will focus on sharing the love of Christ through veterinary medicine and training with a small animal emphasis.
Her hope is to continue to develop lasting relationships, to share the Good News with those who have not heard, and to disciple and encourage fellow believers in their faith and ministry. The Lord has shown her that He is the provider of a hope and a future for those that trust in Him. Through her service, her desire is to see others find that hope and future through Him for themselves.
Please keep Heather in your prayers. She and her little dog Cora arrived safely in Mongolia and at her temporary apartment. It was a very long flight but no problems. Uphold her in prayer as she begins this exciting but challenging chapter in her work and witness.

Food Related Mission Projects
We have a ministry that focuses on providing meals or other food related services to those who have the need. Currently, a few of us prepare a meal for about 20 people at Out of the Cold (OOTC) once every few months, with each person providing a portion of the meal. We also provide sides for the Pregnancy Care Center's monthly meeting. Please contact Barb Hofstrom if you'd like help prepare food for these endeavors (b.neuhard@yahoo.com)
We also deliver donated pizzas from Brother's Pizza to OOTC every Tuesday lunch. Two Thursdays a month, sandwiches are donated by The Original Waffle Shop and delivered to OOTC
We offer meals to people in need after surgery, injuries or any reason there is a hardship in their home. Please contact Cathie Dick if you would like to be included in our email list looking for food donations: chd1975@outlook.com And please let us know if there is a need.
