Please join us on Sundays, 9 a.m., just before Worship. This is a more traditional Bible study compared to a book study about our faith. We are studying the Gospel of Mark, approximately 1 chapter per week. This Gospel highlights Jesus as a servant who brings forgiveness of sins and total restoration, often interacting directly with people.
Studying the Gospel of Mark offers a fast-paced, action-oriented portrait of Jesus as the suffering Servant-Messiah, focusing heavily on his deeds and authority. As the earliest written Gospel, it provides the closest, most vivid, and authentic narrative of Jesus' life and ministry.
Mark's Gospel serves to strengthen faith, particularly for those facing challenges, by highlighting Jesus' power over darkness and his commitment to serving others.
