New Life welcomes everyone to worship with us! For young families, we have a children’s message near the beginning of the worship service. Then children ages 2 and up are dismissed to Children's Church for the remainder of the service. The curriculum focuses on Scripture-based lessons. We incorporate short videos, discussion, Bible teaching, and crafts to present these lessons in an engaging kid-friendly way. See more information below of current curriculum.

During Advent, students will discover how the birth of Jesus brings a deep, lasting joy applicable to all life circumstances. Children will learn to differentiate between “right now” happiness and “never-ending” joy through engaging Bible stories, interactive activities, and thoughtful discussions.
Week 1 - REJOICE in Hope
- Bible Story: The Prophecy of Jesus' Birth (Isaiah 9:6-7)
- Lesson Main Idea: Because Jesus brings hope, we can have joy even when waiting for good things.
- Gospel Connection: Jesus fulfills God's promises, giving us hope for salvation and a joyful future with Him.
Week 2 - REJOICE in Peace
- Bible Story: Journey to Bethlehem and Jesus' Birth (Luke 2:1-7)
- Lesson Main Idea: Because Jesus brings peace, we can have joy even when things around us are scary.
- Gospel Connection: Through Jesus, we can have peace with God and find calm joy in any situation.
Week 3 - REJOICE in Love
- Bible Story: Shepherds Visit Jesus (Luke 2:15-20)
- Lesson Main Idea: Because Jesus brings love, we can have joy knowing we are always cared for, no matter what.
- Gospel Connection: God's love, demonstrated through Jesus, invites us into a joyful relationship with Him
Week 4 - REJOICE Always
- Bible Story: Simeon and Anna Rejoice (Luke 2:25-38)
- Lesson Main Idea: Because of Jesus, we can choose joy in all circumstances and share it with others.
- Gospel Connection: The good news of Jesus' birth brings a joy that transforms our lives and inspires us to always rejoice
